Call Me Late 03:36
What's your name? that's what everybody says What's your game? I'm tryin' to figure out what that is Where you been? where you goin'? everybody wants to know When I say "I'm leavin'" they call me So and So chorus You can me Johnson, you can call me Jay, you can call me Little Ricky, you can call me Ronnie Ray but honey when you call me, call me late What I'm thinkin' everybody wants to know How do I sleep at night in my cozy bungalow With my mouth wide open like some little Honey you don´t know but I wish you did chorus Fall over that speaker, knock that mic into my face That's the price I pay for bein' in this place Someday I'll be unlisted now won't that be a bore Till then feel free to telephone but I don't get home till four
3.
Drummers Dream of tambourines and red guitars with 20 strings To write the songs they play and sing for Angels who have lost their wings chorus Today we're all in tune, giggin' on the moon Today we're all in tune the band will be here soon The dancers are the rising stars, they come from Venus and from Mars The own the floors in all the bars from Basin Street to Kandahar chorus the ancient jukebox in my plays the Airplane and the Dead Remember what John Lennon said, give me some peace and I'll get out of bed chorus
4.
Hard Road 04:32
I drank from the Golden Slipper and then I talked to the Brain I rode in the Calvary of God, through the Shot Gun Rain I wrestled with my conscience and then I wrestled with my pain I even wrestled with the junk yard dog, he was chewin' on his chain he said chorus It's a hard, hard, road, one that never takes you home and it's a hard, hard trip, I'm strugglin' just to keep my grip All you Christian healers, you got your satellite feed You got your vaults full of Gospel and all the sinners that you need me, I get a blow to the temple and then a shot to the crotch 40 years in the very last pew, a hand shake and a watch chorus I'm gonna get me a good book and go stand on that rock and let all you popcorn critics take your finest shot but when you drop the laser man don't look for mersey in the grooves I had my grandest hour droppin' my big load on you chorus
5.
you, with the rag on your head, I heard somebody said your glasses were strange we met long ago in a bar, I took you home in my car you wouldn't let me come in chorus oh you got me laughin' again, oh you got me laughin' again, got me laughin' again your quotes are legend to me, leave it and those lackies instantly come to mind your hair must be constantly changed, I get crazed and deranged but isn't it fun hon chorus you sure are, you sure are, you sure are cute you, have you got three names or two, sometimes I get so confused like at the cleaners today you, with the plugs and the mask, if anybody should ask when you sleep you're a scream chorus
6.
Gonna see what sinks or floats we get out in those leaky boats These times will leave you ill at ease Shoved off in a ship of hope, came home in a fog of dope Now we can hear what the blind man sees Lessons learned but never shared like souls in pain but never bared Tell the children to use their words, they flit around like dirty birds The new troubadour can't play a note The Lone Ranger has got his mask you know I didn't have to ask Tonto's got him by the throat You know if the truth be told, Kemosabe means asshole the Hell Casters only play black keys while jammin' out with deportees Absentee lovers and present foes take your cover leave you exposed All the best chaperones are drugged We were jammin' with the Pilgrims Pride the Chinese got chicken fried The shade at midnight came unplugged Showin' weakness to the overlords gets you bad time And suspended chords

This House 04:50
8.
I met a Man from Mars, who said he'd seen the stars Then they put him behind bars, that's no way to treat a Man from Mars You said Mars was cold as ice and what we should do is bring them Jesus Christ I only let you say that twice, because I'm nice Today I'm wondering if I really want to stay It's been along time since has broke my way There seems to be no end to the price you gotta pay You gotta pay Is there love beyond the stars, do they have these woundless scars that we carry in our hearts, is there love beyond the stars?
